Chrome extension

The Google Chrome extension allows you to sync Brandfolder assets to the extension and share images directly into commonly used sites via an easy and user-friendly interface.

Download the extension

1. Navigate to the Brandfolder extension in the Chrome Web Store. 
2. Select Add to Chrome in the top right-hand corner. 
3. A new window appears; select Add extension. 

A pop-up in the right-hand corner lets you know the Brandfolder extension has been added to Chrome. 

In Chrome, select the Extensions icon and pin the Brandfolder extension for easier access. 

Navigate the extension

1. Select the Brandfolder icon in the Extension bar. 
2. The first time you use the extension, you must input your API key. Select Submit. 

Your Brandfolder content will appear. The integration panel allows you to navigate your content just like you would within the Brandfolder by visiting the different levels of the Brandfolder hierarchy (Organizations, Brandfolders, and Collections).     

3. Once you are at the Brandfolder or Collection level, you have the following options to narrow down your content.

• Search assets by inputting search syntaxes into the search bar. 
• Select Pin  Brandfolder Image Next to the search bar, utilize pinned searches. 
• Filter by asset status, tags, file types, custom fields, orientation, SKU, and upload date by selecting the Filter icon next to Pin. 
• Search for labels by selecting the Label icon below the search bar.
• Filter by section or collection by selecting the arrow to the right of All Sections or Collections.

Use Brandfolder assets

1. Hover over the asset and select View Details. 
2. From this view, scroll to the bottom and select the attachment. 
3. On the new page, select More Options to adjust the width and height, copy the image, crop the image, or copy the CDN Embed Link.
4. To use the asset, you can choose the following options: 
   • Copy PNG
   • Copy the attachment, CDN Link
   • Download (in the More menu)
